	The wild turkey in its natural habitat, a Cadence (software development) office building lot across the street from where I work.
		The turkey was perfectly happy to leave me alone until I took that first picture. The noise of the camera advancing the film either sounded tasty or annoying, because I was suddenly very a interesting subject. This is not a small bird.

		Eight to ten inches of snow piled up outside my bedroom window

	My car parked along Gordon Pond Trail in the White Mountains
		Shadows of trees falling across the trail. There is about a half inch of fresh fluffy snow on top of an eighth of an inch of ice on top of about 2-3 feet of other snow. My snowshoes were very loud when crunching through the thin ice layer.

	The trail passed across a small creek and there were a couple of places where you could see the water running underneath all the ice and snow.
		Farther up on the trail, a wooden bridge crossed another creek. There is about 30 inches of snow piled up on top of this bridge.

	This is looking down at two holes in the snow. At one end of the wooden bridge, there were apparently some boards missing, so the snow fell through the holes. It still piled up right up to the edges, though. (That red thing is my right snowshoe.)
